Breeder software, priced by what you sell
Registering a litter costs nothing, as often as you like. What you pay for is the sale: a Litter Pass at $29 once per litter, and never a percentage on the animals you sell. A kennel or cattery that also boards, trains, grooms, offers stud service, handles or transports gets the software free and pays 1.25% on each booking. Same tools, same directory, same protected deposits.
Litter records: free, on every plan
Register a litter and every puppy or kitten in it for nothing, with no yearly quota. Weigh-ins and growth charts, photos, the pedigree, chip registration, the transfer to each buyer and lifetime recovery are all part of the record. Each animal gets its own profile and free microchip registration, and the record moves to the buyer's account at handover. Sharing one animal of the litter with a buyer, as a member or by a private link, is free as well.
You pay only for the litters you sell through the platform, and only once per litter.
The Litter Pass: $29, once, per litter
A Litter Pass is bought for one litter and lasts that litter's life. It unlocks the reservation queue with pick order, offer windows and next-in-line; protected deposits on that litter; a contract per reservation, pre-filled from the litter, the animal and the buyer and signed by link; sharing the whole litter with one link or with members, with automatic weight and photo digests and an ad-free page under your own branding; and full Audience Insights detail for that litter.
Contracts are counted separately, so a pack works beyond litters too: credits come in packs of 10, 20 or 50, from $40, and last 24 months from purchase. There is no fee per animal.
Kennels and catteries: free software, pay per booking
A kennel or cattery is one business kind on United Pet Club. Whether it reads as a kennel, a cattery or both follows the breeds you declare. It runs the same model as every service business on the platform: the software is free, with unlimited staff, locations and vehicles, and no subscription.
You pay a 1.25% (minimum $0.50) Commission per service booking, once on the booking total, plus the published Platform Processing Fee (2.9% + $0.30 online, 2.7% + $0.05 in person) and Stripe Payout Fees at Stripe's cost when you are paid out. Boarding, daycare, training, grooming, stud service, show handling and transport all count as bookings. Bookings paid in cash or by e-Transfer carry the same Commission, netted from your next payout.
Litter records are free here too. A litter you sell takes the same Litter Pass as everyone else, $29 once per litter, for its listing, reservations, deposits, contracts and whole-litter sharing. Pro, at $199 a month for the first location or vehicle and $119 for each additional one, removes the Commission on service bookings and includes 6 Litter Passes a year; a pass beyond those is $29. Partner perks unlock at a rolling $12,000 a month of on-platform bookings, exactly as for groomers.
Protected deposits: how the buyer's money is kept safe

The buyer reserves
A listing with a Reserve button takes its deposit through the platform. Deposits only, never the balance: at most $500 or 25% of the price, whichever is lower. The balance is settled between you and the buyer at pickup and carries no fee.

United Pet Club holds it
The deposit sits in the platform's balance, not yours and not the buyer's, until the handover. Reserve is offered once the litter exists and pickup is within 90 days.

Both sides confirm the handover
The buyer confirms receipt with a photo, you confirm the handover, and the scanned microchip is matched to the animal's record. Then the ownership transfer executes and the deposit is released to you.

What it costs
The Commission on a protected deposit is 5% (minimum CA$5) of the deposit, paid by the seller, plus the Platform Processing Fee. It is 0% for verified nonprofit rescues and shelters, who pay the Platform Processing Fee only. If nobody confirms within 14 days of the pickup window, the deposit follows your contract, with an admin arbitration path for the deposit alone.

Is there a free version of the breeder software?
Yes, for everyone: litter records, weights, photos, pedigrees, chip registration, transfers and recovery are free and unlimited. Kennels and catteries get the booking software free as well and pay a 1.25% (minimum $0.50) Commission per booking. How do I know whether I am a breeder or a kennel and cattery?
By what your profile does. If you take bookings for boarding, daycare, training, grooming, stud service, handling or transport, you are a kennel or cattery. If you only breed and sell animals, you are a breeder. The Dashboard asks you to switch the first time you put a bookable service on sale, and you can switch back once no service is bookable.
What is a contract pack?
A pack of contract credits, one credit per contract: 10 for $40, 20 for $70 or 50 for $150. Credits last 24 months from the day you buy the pack, and packs stack. The Litter Pass does not include contracts, so a pack works for adoption, stud service and co-ownership contracts as well.
Do you take a percentage on the animals I sell?
No. United Pet Club never charges a percentage on the sale price of an animal. The only animal money that goes through the platform is an optional protected deposit, capped at $500 or 25% of the price, held until both sides confirm the handover, with a 5% (minimum CA$5) Commission paid by the seller.
What does a Litter Pass cover?
Everything around selling one litter, for that litter's life: the listing, a reservation queue with pick order and offer windows, protected deposits, a contract per reservation, sharing the whole litter with one link and with members, weight and photo digests, an ad-free page with your branding, and full Audience Insights detail for that litter. Do I need a separate plan for each kennel location?
No. On the kennel and cattery model, locations and vehicles are unlimited and free; only the Pro plan counts them (first unit $199, each additional $119).
Is the buyer protected beyond the deposit?
No, and every listing says so. United Pet Club is not an escrow for the balance. The deposit is held until the handover is confirmed by both sides and the chip matches; whether it is refundable follows your own contract.
Does the plan or the fee affect where I appear in the breeder directory?
Never. The directory ranks on quality signals only: verification, health-test uploads, contract use, response time, reviews, profile completeness and litter recency. Paid visibility, if it ever exists, is labelled Sponsored and kept separate.
