A nonprofit club, and the technology company that runs its platform
United Pet Club exists to keep animals healthy and to make life easier for the people who look after them. The club is run by United Pet Club Inc, a Canadian nonprofit. The platform you are using is built and operated by United Pet Technologies Inc.
Help promote and educate the wellbeing of animals. That is the purpose United Pet Club Inc was incorporated under in 2020, and it still decides what gets built. In practice it means a pet registry that works across borders, a lost-pet lookup any finder can use without an account, and breed and health reference material that is open to read.
The club and the platform are deliberately separate. One holds the mission, the membership and the programs. The other carries the engineering, the infrastructure and the vendor relationships.
A not-for-profit corporation, incorporated federally in Canada in 2020 and registered in British Columbia. It runs the membership, the certifications, the pet health and education programs, and the mission side of pet recovery. It also owns the United Pet Club name, which the platform uses under license.
unitedpetclub.orgThe company that builds and operates unitedpetclub.com: the pet registry and pedigrees, health records, the lost-pet system, the store, and the tools breeders, groomers, trainers and clinics use every day. It also carries the hosting, security and payment work, so the club does not have to.
unitedpettech.comA nonprofit rarely has the engineering capacity to run a registry, a payment system and a recovery service that has to work at three in the morning. A software company rarely has anyone it must answer to about whether the product is good for the animal. Pairing them covers both gaps.
It shows up in ordinary decisions. When the club says a stranger who finds a dog has to be able to look up its tag without signing up, that is what gets built. When the platform builds a health record system, the club decides which parts become open education instead of a paid feature.
Health is the reason the registry exists. A United Pet Club profile is meant to be an animal's record for life rather than a listing: vaccinations and medications, health conditions, pedigree, and who to call if the animal turns up somewhere it should not be.
Vaccination and medication history, conditions and results stay with the pet when it changes hands, moves country or sees a new vet.
Anyone who finds a pet can look up its tag or microchip and reach the owner, without creating an account first.
Breed profiles, health condition pages and care guidance are published to be read, not locked behind a plan.
Training, grooming and handling programs run by the club, with a record of what was completed kept on the member's profile.
How an animal does usually depends on whether the humans around it have what they need, so the platform is built for both.
One place for your pet's records, a public profile you control, tags and links that point a finder straight at you, and a directory for finding a breeder, groomer, trainer or sitter near you.
Breeders, groomers, trainers, clinics and boarding businesses get listings, client and animal records, program certifications and a storefront, without stitching separate systems together.
Donations and other contributions to the club go to United Pet Club Inc, the nonprofit. It uses them to run its pet health and education programs. We keep the description short here on purpose. The programs page lists what is actually running.
United Pet Club Inc is a not-for-profit corporation and not a registered charity, so contributions are not tax deductible and do not come with a charitable receipt.

If a decision is good for the business and bad for the animal, it does not ship.
Your pet's record belongs to you. It crosses borders, vets, shelters and breeders, and you can take it with you.
Contact details are shared on your terms. A finder sees what they need to return your pet, and nothing more.
