Free registration puts your pet's microchip number, your contact details, and basic information about your pet into a record on our pet registry, searchable by a vet at any hour. There's no fee to open that record, no fee to keep it live, and no fee to change your phone number or address down the line, which is exactly where a lot of other registries slip in a charge.
The free lifetime plan is built around three things: registration, unlimited updates, and round-the-clock searchability. If you want more, say extra notification options, upgraded registry features sit on top of it. Nothing in the free plan lapses or asks for renewal, and if this is your first time, the step-by-step guide walks through it. Why paid registration doesn't hold up
A chip nobody registered is just a code with nothing behind it. A vet can scan it, but with no record attached, there's no one to call. Charging for registration, or worse, for updates, gives owners a reason to let details slide, right when a lost pet needs them most.

Is microchip registration actually free in Singapore?
With United Pet Club it is, no charge for registering, no charge for updates, no renewal fee at any point. Dog licensing fees set by AVS are a separate matter entirely; registering the microchip number in our pet registry never costs anything on top of that.
Will I need to pay at some point to keep it active?
No. A registered chip stays active for the life of your pet unless you remove it. No subscription is propping up the free tier.
Can I register a chip that isn't from United Pet Club?
Yes. Enter the number from your pet's paperwork or the one your vet gives you, and it registers the same way a United Pet Club chip would.
