United Pet Club

Registration that is genuinely free, for the life of your pet

United Pet Club charges nothing to register a microchip, and nothing to update your contact details afterward. Whether your pet carries a United Pet Club chip or one from a different provider entirely, our free lifetime plan adds it to the pet registry at no cost, with nothing ever coming up for renewal.

What free registration actually provides

Free registration means your pet's microchip number, your contact details, and a few basic facts about your pet are entered into a record on our pet registry, one that a veterinarian, shelter, or animal welfare officer can search at any hour. There is no fee to create the record, none to keep it active, and none to change your phone number or address at a later date, which happens to be precisely where a good many other registries introduce a charge.

Registration, unlimited updates, and round-the-clock searchability, that is what the free lifetime plan covers in full. Should you want more, upgraded registry features are available on top, additional notification options among them. Nothing in the free lifetime plan expires or requires renewal, and if this is your first time registering a chip, our step-by-step guide explains the whole process. The plan is available worldwide as well, so wherever you currently live, and wherever you may relocate later, the same free registration continues to apply.

What is included at no cost

●

Lifetime registration

Registration does not expire, and there is nothing to renew or purchase again later.

●

Unlimited contact updates

Update your address, phone number, or email as often as required, for as long as the pet remains yours.

Veterinarians and animal welfare teams can search the registry at any hour, day or night, including through the AAHA universal microchip lookup.

●

Works with chips from other companies

A United Pet Club microchip is not a requirement for using our registry. Enter the number from an existing chip and it links to your record in the same way.

Why free registration is worth the emphasis

A microchip that has never been registered accomplishes very little. Shelters and veterinarians can scan it well enough, but without a record attached to that number, there is no way of reaching the owner. Charging for registration, or for updates, tends to discourage owners from keeping their records current, and that is exactly the moment a lost pet is least likely to be reunited with its family.

Because registration and updates remain free with us, there is little reason for your information to fall out of date. Have you moved, changed your phone number, or rehomed a pet? Update the microchip record the same day, it takes only a few minutes.

Questions about free registration

Is microchip registration genuinely free in India?

Yes, entirely. There is no charge to register a new microchip with United Pet Club, none to update your details, and no renewal fee, whether your pet lives in Delhi, Chennai, Pune, or any other city in the country.

Will payment eventually be required to keep the registration active?

No. Once a chip is registered, it remains active for the life of your pet unless you choose to remove it. No subscription is required to keep the free tier working.

Can I register a microchip that is not from United Pet Club?

Yes. Enter the microchip number printed on your pet's paperwork, or the one your veterinarian provides, and it registers in our system exactly as a United Pet Club chip would.

What distinguishes the free lifetime plan from the upgraded registry plans?

The free lifetime plan covers the core record: your contact details, your pet's information, and searchability around the clock, at no cost, for the life of your pet. Upgraded plans add extras such as additional notification options, though upgrading is never required to keep the basic registration active.
