Urinary incontinence
Urinary incontinence is the involuntary leakage of urine, most often noticed as wet bedding where the dog has been resting. The most common form in dogs is urethral sphincter weakness after spaying. Other causes include hormonal changes, anatomical abnormalities, neurologic disease, and bladder disorders. Most cases respond well to medical or surgical treatment.
