Canine fly-snapping behavior

Fly-snapping is a repetitive behaviour in which a dog appears to snap at imaginary flies or objects in the air. It has been variously attributed to compulsive disorder, focal seizures, and gastrointestinal disease. Recent evidence links many cases to underlying digestive discomfort, making a medical workup important.
