豚丹毒

豚丹毒は、Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiaeによる細菌感染症で、急性の敗血症、特徴的なひし形の皮膚病変、慢性の関節炎および心臓弁膜症を引き起こす。あらゆる年齢の豚に発生し、ワクチン接種と抗菌薬により制御可能である。本菌は人獣共通感染症の原因菌でもあり、豚や汚染物に接触した人にエリジペロイド(類丹毒)と呼ばれる皮膚感染を起こす。
