Piccione color
Opale dominante
Pigeon color: the dominant opal factor, which bleaches the bar or check area so the wing shield shows pale, whitish bars or checks (AGHA: 'Whitish bar and checkering can occur'); mostly on blue, also on ash red and brown (NPA, American Show Racer and Giant Homer standards).
5 Piccione breeds list Opale dominante. It is in a club standard for 3 breeds.
