Canary mutation (COM 'Pearl', French 'perle'): a recessive acromelanism, a temperature-sensitive tyrosinase (TYR p.P45H), shown by COM on the black series over white, yellow and red grounds (intensive, non-intensive and mosaic). Not the pearl eye PEARL, nor the older American 'pearl' (satinette crossed with lizard).
