Fowl pox
Fowl pox is a slow-spreading viral disease of birds caused by avipoxviruses. The cutaneous (dry) form produces wart-like nodules on unfeathered skin, while the diphtheritic (wet) form causes lesions in the mouth and upper airway. Mortality is usually low but production drops and the wet form can be fatal.
