Dog color
Badger grey
Dog colour: a grizzled grey of white, grey, fawn and black-tipped hairs, like a badger's coat; the French hounds' 'poil de blaireau'. The badger grey patches the FCI most appreciates on the Pyrenean Mountain Dog, the Beagle's badger pied, and the Artois and Artesian Norman hounds' coats 'similar to the coat of the hare or the badger' (FCI 137, 161, 28, 34). Compare hare, the fawner form, grey and salt and pepper; not the rat's badger marking.
3 Dog breeds list Badger grey. It is in a club standard for 3 breeds.
