Territorial aggression
Territorial aggression is directed at people or animals perceived to be intruding on a defended area such as a home, yard, or vehicle. It is frequently mixed with fear, and the response intensifies near the boundary of the territory. The behaviour is often inadvertently reinforced when the perceived intruder departs.
