Hämangiosarkom
Also known as: Blutgefäßkrebs
Das Hämangiosarkom ist ein aggressiver Krebs der Zellen, die Blutgefäße auskleiden, und betrifft beim Hund meist Milz, Herz oder Leber. Die Tumoren sind zerbrechlich und neigen zur Ruptur, was plötzliche innere Blutungen verursacht, die sich als Kollaps oder Schwäche durch Blutverlust äußern können. Der Krebs streut früh und ausgedehnt, und die Erkrankung ist bei Diagnose häufig bereits fortgeschritten. Die Prognose bleibt selbst mit Operation und Chemotherapie vorsichtig.
