- Are the breeders, shelters and rescues on United Pet Club verified?
- Sellers who list animals for sale are identity-verified breeders, and shelters and rescues list under organisation profiles. Each listing shows the seller’s verification badges, rating and how long they have been a member, and the first listings of a new seller are checked by the platform team before they appear.
- What kinds of animal listings are there?
- Animals for sale from breeders, animals for adoption or foster from shelters and rescues (including foster-to-adopt), animals being rehomed by their current owner, stud services, born litters with per-animal availability, and upcoming litters with a waitlist. Animals imported from rescue websites link back to the rescue’s own page.
- How do deposits and reservations work?
- When a seller takes deposits, you pay through United Pet Club and the animal is held for you while the payment completes and reserved once it is paid. The listing states whether the deposit is refundable and the seller’s deposit policy; never pay a seller outside the platform.
- How do I contact a shelter or rescue about an animal?
- Use the inquiry button on the listing. Adoption and foster inquiries open an application with the organisation. Animals imported from a rescue’s website are contacted through that website, which the listing links to.
- What should I do if a listing looks suspicious?
- Use the Report action on the listing (scam, misleading, welfare concern, underage animal, duplicate, off-platform payment and more). Repeated reports hide a listing until the platform team has reviewed it. Warning signs are requests to pay by wire transfer or gift card, refusal to let you visit, and shipping-only offers.
