牙周病

牙周病是由牙齦邊緣上下堆積的牙菌斑與牙結石所引起，造成牙齒支持組織發炎與感染。它是貓犬最常見的口腔疾病，病程會從可逆的牙齦炎，進展為支撐牙齒的齒槽骨與韌帶發生不可逆的喪失。除了造成口腔疼痛與掉牙外，也可能影響全身健康。定期口腔照護可預防並控制此病。
