Laminitis

Laminitis, toynak duvarını altındaki tırnak kemiğine bağlayan laminaların ağrılı iltihabı ve yetmezliğidir. Sıklıkla endokrin hastalığı, aşırı tahıl yüklemesi, ciddi sistemik hastalık veya bir uzva aşırı ağırlık binmesini takip eder. Şiddetli vakalarda tırnak kemiği toynak içinde döner veya batar, felç edici topallığa neden olur.
