Giardiasis är en tarminfektion orsakad av protozoparasiten Giardia, som stör näringsupptaget i tunntarmen. Det är en vanlig orsak till lös eller fet diarré, särskilt hos kattungar och i trångbodda miljöer. Många infekterade katter visar inga symtom. Vissa genotyper har zoonotisk potential, även om de flesta felina stammar är värdanpassade.
