Blyförgiftning
Also known as: Saturnism
Saturnism uppstår genom intag av blyhaltiga material som gammal färg, fiskesänken, lödmetall och batterier. Bly stör nervsystemet, mag-tarmkanalen och bildningen av röda blodkroppar. Nötkreatur och vattenfåglar drabbas också ofta. Kelatbehandling sänker blyhalten i blodet.
