Äggula-peritonit
Also known as: Gulperitonit
Äggula-peritonit är en inflammation i bukhålan orsakad av gulmaterial som frigörs i celomet i stället för att passera ner genom äggledaren. Gulan orsakar inflammation och ofta bakteriell infektion (vanligen E. coli), vilket leder till septisk bukhinneinflammation. Det är en vanlig orsak till sjukdom och död hos högproducerande hönor.
