Random black freckles scattered over the body, from single scales to small clusters, apart from the normal pattern and usually growing in number as the animal ages: the marker of banana and coral glow ball pythons, whose yellow, orange and lavender tones fade while the freckles come in. Compare SPOTTED (regular round spots).
