Breed standards describe the Spitz German in Negru, Alb, Gri, Albastru, Liliachiu, Argintiu, Maro, Seal, Roșcat, Roșu, Portocaliu, Auriu și Crem. Standard patterns: Unicolor, Tricolor, Particolor, Samur, Aguti și Marcat roșcat.
