Also known as: Saturnisme
Saturnisme skyldes inntak av blyholdige materialer som gammel maling, fiskesøkker, loddemetall og batterier. Bly forstyrrer nervesystemet, mage-tarmkanalen og dannelsen av røde blodceller. Storfe og vannfugler rammes også ofte. Kelateringsbehandling senker blynivået i blodet.
