Mogno

Canary mutation (COM 'Mogno', Portuguese for mahogany): alters the black and brown eumelanin and removes visible phaeomelanin, the melanin staying on the upper side of the feather, so flights and tail are darker above than below (the reverse of opal). Not MAHOGANY.
