Penyakit Marek ialah penyakit limfoproliferatif ayam yang amat berjangkit, disebabkan oleh alphaherpesvirus berkait sel (gallid herpesvirus 2). Ia menghasilkan limfoma sel-T pada organ visera, pembengkakan saraf yang membawa kepada kelumpuhan, serta penindasan imun. Bentuk saraf klasik menyebabkan kelumpuhan anggota yang progresif, manakala bentuk visera dan mata turut berlaku.
