Hemangiosarkoma

Also known as: barah salur darah

Hemangiosarkoma ialah barah agresif daripada sel yang melapisi salur darah, paling kerap menjejaskan limpa, jantung, atau hati pada anjing. Tumor ini rapuh dan mudah pecah, menyebabkan pendarahan dalaman mengejut yang boleh muncul sebagai rebah atau kelemahan akibat kehilangan darah. Ia merebak awal dan meluas, dan selalunya sudah lanjut apabila dikesan. Prognosis tetap perlu berhati-hati walaupun dengan pembedahan dan kemoterapi.

These breeds are recorded as more prone to Hemangiosarkoma than their species as a whole. Many animals of these breeds never develop it.
