Bumblefoot (pododermatitis)

Bumblefoot ialah jangkitan bakteria kronik dan keradangan tapak kaki burung, biasanya disebabkan oleh Staphylococcus aureus yang memasuki melalui calar kulit. Ia menyebabkan bengkak, kerak gelap khas pada tapak kaki, ketempangan dan jika tidak dirawat boleh berkembang menjadi abses dalam serta penglibatan tulang. Burung berat yang berada di permukaan keras atau kotor paling berisiko.
