Dog color
Barsukinė pilka
Dog color: a grizzled gray of white, gray, fawn and black-tipped hairs, like a badger's coat; the French hounds' 'poil de blaireau'. The badger gray patches the FCI most appreciates on the Pyrenean Mountain Dog, the Beagle's badger pied, and the Artois and Artesian Norman hounds' coats 'similar to the coat of the hare or the badger' (FCI 137, 161, 28, 34). Compare hare, the fawner form, gray and salt and pepper; not the rat's badger marking.
