Meningioma
Also known as: Tumore cerebrale
Il meningioma è il tumore cerebrale più comune del gatto, originato dalle meningi che rivestono il cervello. Nel gatto questi tumori sono generalmente benigni, a crescita lenta e ben delimitati, il che rende l'asportazione chirurgica spesso risolutiva. Colpiscono tipicamente i gatti anziani e causano segni neurologici progressivi come cambiamenti comportamentali e convulsioni.
