Una condizione congenita in cui uno o entrambi i testicoli non scendono nello scroto, rimanendo nell'addome o nel canale inguinale. Si eredita con un pattern complesso, probabilmente limitato al sesso, ed è più comune nelle razze piccole e toy. I testicoli ritenuti comportano un rischio aumentato di neoplasia e torsione.
