Cacar unggas
Also known as: Cacar burung
Cacar unggas adalah penyakit virus yang menyebar lambat pada burung, disebabkan oleh avipoxvirus. Bentuk kulit (kering) menimbulkan bintil menyerupai kutil pada kulit tak berbulu, sementara bentuk difteritik (basah) menyebabkan lesi di mulut dan saluran napas atas. Angka kematian biasanya rendah tetapi produksi menurun, dan bentuk basah dapat fatal.
