אבעבועות עופות היא מחלה נגיפית איטית התפשטות בעופות, הנגרמת על ידי אביפוקסווירוסים. הצורה העורית (היבשה) מייצרת גושים דמויי יבלת על עור חשוף מנוצות, בעוד שהצורה הדיפתריטית (הרטובה) גורמת לנגעים בפה ובדרכי הנשימה העליונות. התמותה בדרך כלל נמוכה אך הייצור יורד, והצורה הרטובה עלולה להיות קטלנית.
