Copal

Cat color: a warm apricot-red that develops during the first year as the black fades from the hair of a brown tabby; kittens are born with a warm reddish tone, adults are apricot-red, and tabbies with one copy look golden. The copal (carnelian) of the Kurilian Bobtail, a recessive MC1R allele.
