بیماری پای سیاه
پای سیاه یک بیماری کلستریدیایی کشنده و سریع در گاوها ناشی از Clostridium chauvoei است که در عضلات بزرگ گانگرن گازی ایجاد می‌کند. معمولاً گاوهای جوان و خوش‌رشد در مرتع را، اغلب بدون هشدار قبلی، مبتلا می‌کند. اسپورهای موجود در خاک بلعیده شده و در عضله فعال می‌شوند و سموم کشنده آزاد می‌کنند.
