تومورهای بیضه

تومورهای بیضه در سگ‌های نر عقیم‌نشده مسن شایع هستند و شامل تومورهای سلول سرتولی، سمینوما و تومورهای سلول بینابینی (لیدیگ) می‌شوند. اغلب خوش‌خیم و با اخته کردن قابل درمان هستند، اما تومورهای سلول سرتولی به‌ویژه می‌توانند استروژن تولید کنند و باعث زنانه شدن و سرکوب خطرناک مغز استخوان شوند. بیضه‌های نزول‌نکرده خطر بالاتر تومور دارند. برداشتن هر دو بیضه معمولاً درمان‌کننده است.
