استئوسارکوم

استئوسارکوم شایع‌ترین تومور اولیه استخوان در سگ‌ها، به‌ویژه نژادهای بزرگ و غول‌پیکر، است که معمولاً در اندام‌ها نزدیک زانو، شانه یا مچ ایجاد می‌شود. این تومور تهاجمی است و باعث تحلیل مخرب استخوان، درد شدید و لنگش مکرر یا شکستگی پاتولوژیک می‌شود. گسترش میکروسکوپی به ریه در بیشتر سگ‌ها در زمان تشخیص وجود دارد حتی قبل از آنکه قابل مشاهده شود. درمان بر کنترل درد و کاهش سرعت گسترش تمرکز دارد.
