نارسایی احتقانی قلب یک سندرم بالینی است که در آن قلب بیمار دیگر قادر به پمپاژ خون کافی برای تأمین نیازهای بدن نیست و باعث تجمع مایع در ریه‌ها یا شکم می‌شود. این وضعیت مرحله نهایی بسیاری از بیماری‌های قلبی زمینه‌ای مانند تخریب دریچه‌ای یا کاردیومیوپاتی است. علائم شامل سرفه، تنفس دشوار، عدم تحمل ورزش و تورم شکم است. این بیماری مدیریت می‌شود اما درمان قطعی ندارد.
