یک وضعیت مادرزادی که در آن یک یا هر دو بیضه به کیسه بیضه فرود نمی‌آید و در شکم یا کانال اینگوینال باقی می‌ماند. با الگوی پیچیده، احتمالاً محدود به جنس، به ارث می‌رسد و در نژادهای کوچک و اسباب‌بازی شایع‌تر است. بیضه‌های نزول‌نکرده خطر افزایش‌یافته نئوپلازی و پیچش را دارند.
