آبسه در خزندگان

آبسه‌ها کیسه‌های محصورشده عفونت هستند که در خزندگان بسیار شایع‌اند و معمولاً پس از گاز گرفتگی، خراش یا سایر زخم‌های پوستی که باکتری‌های فرصت‌طلب به آن‌ها راه می‌یابند، ایجاد می‌شوند. از آنجا که چرک خزندگان به‌جای مایع، سفت و پنیرمانند است، آبسه‌ها به‌صورت تورم‌های سفتی بروز می‌کنند که به‌سادگی تخلیه نمی‌شوند. این آبسه‌ها می‌توانند در پوست، دهان، گوش‌ها، فک یا اندام‌های داخلی رخ دهند و در صورت عدم درمان تخریب موضعی و بیماری سیستمیک ایجاد کنند. معمولاً برداشتن جراحی مغز سفت آبسه لازم است.
