Meningioma

El meningioma es el tumor cerebral más frecuente del gato, originado en las membranas (meninges) que cubren el cerebro. En gatos, estos tumores suelen ser benignos, de crecimiento lento y bien delimitados, lo que hace que la extirpación quirúrgica sea a menudo curativa. Suelen afectar a gatos mayores y causan signos neurológicos progresivos como cambios de comportamiento y convulsiones.
