What pet registration is, and what it does
Registering a pet creates a record: name, species, breed, photo, and birth date, linked to your contact details in the United Pet Club registry. Vets, shelters, and finders can reach that record when it matters, and you can update it any time your details change. No fee to create it, no fee to keep it.
Pet registration isn't the same thing as microchip registration. The profile is the record; a microchip is one way to link a found animal back to it. A pet with no chip still benefits from a profile, and once your vet does implant one, you add the 15-digit number to the profile you already have. ID tags and pet passports attach to the same record.
