Urolithiasis er dannelsen af mineralsten i urinvejene, oftest i blæren. Stenene irriterer slimhinden, giver blodig og smertefuld vandladning og kan blokere urinstrømmen, en livstruende nødsituation hos hanner. Almindelige typer omfatter struvit og calciumoxalat, hvor nogle, som urat og cystin, har en arvelig baggrund. Behandlingen afhænger af stenens type og placering.
