Separationsangst er en almindelig adfærdsforstyrrelse, hvor en hund bliver stresset, når den efterlades alene eller adskilt fra en bestemt person. Den viser sig som destruktiv adfærd, lydytringer, urenlighed indendørs og flugtforsøg. Behandlingen kombinerer adfærdsmodifikation, miljømæssige ændringer og undertiden medicin.
