Also known as: Otrava návnadou na slimáky a plže

Metaldehyd, používaný v návnadách proti slimákům a plžům, způsobuje silný třes a křeče; tento stav se historicky označoval jako „shake and bake“ kvůli doprovodné hypertermii. Granule na bázi otrub jsou pro psy chuťově atraktivní. Neexistuje specifické antidotum, klíčová je rychlá kontrola tělesné teploty.
