التهاب الكبد المزمن الكلبي التهاب مستمر وتليّف تدريجي في الكبد، يؤدي إن لم يُضبط إلى تشمّع وفشل كبدي. تشمل الأسباب تراكم النحاس الشاذ، والمرض المناعي المنشأ، والعدوى، والسموم، رغم أن كثيرًا من الحالات مجهولة السبب. تُصاب بعض السلالات كالبيدلينغتون تيرير والدوبرمان بخاصة. يمكن للتشخيص والعلاج المبكرين إبطاء التطور.
