نبذة عن حمام المودينا

حمام المودينا سلالة إيطالية مكتنزة الجسم ومتوسطة الحجم، لها تشكيلة واسعة من الألوان وطبع هادئ ودود، وتُربّى غالباً للعرض لا للسباق أو اللحم.

المودينا سلالة حمام زينة من شمال إيطاليا، سُمّيت باسم مدينة مودينا. جسمها مكتنز قصير ومستدير، لا طويل ونحيل كسلالات أخرى. يربّيها الهواة أساساً لأغراض العرض والرفقة، لا لسباقات الحمام الزاجل ولا لإنتاج اللحم.

يُعتمد في معايير العرض تصنيفان رئيسيان. النوع الأول يُعرف باسم شييتي (Schietti)، وهو ذو لون واحد موحد يغطي كامل الجسم. أما النوع الثاني فيُعرف باسم غازي (Gazzi)، ويجمع بين رأس وجناحين وذيل ملونة فوق جسم أبيض. وفي كلا النوعين تظهر السلالة بتشكيلة واسعة من الألوان والأنماط، وهذا أحد أسباب إقبال هواة تربية الحمام عليها على مر السنين.

تاريخ حمام المودينا وأصله

نشأ حمام المودينا في مدينة مودينا الإيطالية وما حولها، حيث رُبّي لقرون قبل أن توضع له معايير ثابتة ويُصدَّر إلى دول أخرى كسلالة عرض.

تحمل السلالة اسم مدينة مودينا الواقعة في إقليم إميليا رومانيا بشمال إيطاليا. تربية الحمام في هذه المنطقة قديمة العهد، وقد انتُخبت الطيور المحلية على مدى أجيال عديدة من أجل اللون والجسم القصير المستدير. وكانت السلالات الإيطالية الأولى تُطلَق أحياناً في رياضة جماعية يُساق فيها سرب الحمام ثم يُقتنص، الأمر الذي رسّخ فيها بنية قوية ونشاطاً بدنياً.
