نقص النحاس

نقص النحاس اضطراب غذائي يصيب المجترّات الصغيرة والجمليات، ناتج عن نقص تناول النحاس أو تداخل الموليبدنوم والكبريت والحديد معه. النحاس ضروري لتطور الجهاز العصبي والتصبغ والنسيج الضام. في الحملان، يسبب النقص أثناء الحمل مرض التمايل، وهو حالة عصبية مع اختلال تنسيق وضعف في الطرفين الخلفيين؛ وفي الحيوانات الأكبر سناً يسبب ضعف نمو وشعراً باهتاً أو خشناً وفقر دم. يتناقض مع تسمم النحاس الذي تكون الأغنام حساسة له بشكل خاص.
