اللسان الأزرق مرض فيروسي ينقله الحشرات يصيب المجترات ويسببه فيروس اللسان الأزرق وتنقله بعوضيات من جنس Culicoides. تصاب الأغنام بأشد الأعراض، بينما تعمل الأبقار غالباً كمستودع بعدوى أخف أو دون أعراض. تعكس الأعراض تضرر الأوعية الدموية الصغيرة مسببة حمى وآفات فموية ووذمة.
