مرض النيوكاسل مرض فيروسي شديد العدوى يصيب الطيور، تسببه سلالات ضارية من فيروس نظير الإنفلونزا الطيري النمط 1 (فيروس مرض النيوكاسل). تسبب السلالات شديدة الضراوة أعراضاً تنفسية وعصبية وهضمية حادة مع نسبة نفوق مرتفعة. وهو مرض واجب الإبلاغ لدى المنظمة العالمية لصحة الحيوان (WOAH)، وقد يسبب التهاب ملتحمة خفيفاً لدى البشر.
